Wonderful

Staff is very friendly. They recommended us a couple of local shops that do traditional Taiwanese breakfast. The food was so delicious yet cheap. Check in was fast and smooth. The location of the hotel is fantastic. So close to Taipei Main Station. We walked to the station through a shopping mall nearby which is handy.

The location is great and a short walking distance to Taipei Main Station. I love that they provide supper as part of their offering. Such a great thought! Once again, consistently top-notch service!

I am very motivated to write this review after my third stay at this exceptional hotel. I think most people would have gotten a good idea from all the reviews here about the size of the rooms and the facilities provided here, so there is no need to flog the horse about it. For its price, the size of the room and the prime location to many of the happening spots in Taipei is already worth it. I mean, having free laundry and dryer service is a god-send, especially at the end of the year when it is usually rainy season. You would have no worry at all of running out of clean and dry clothes during your stay here. One thing I must mention is the impeccable service the staff at Cityinn Branch III has provided consistently. They are always willing to go the extra mile for us. When I was going out when it was raining out, one of the staff quickly alerted me to take an umbrella beside the entrance. I must particularly mention Sam, whom I am particularly appreciative of, as he has been the one showing a lot of attention to us when we were here in 2018 and 2019. Knowing that we have returned after the end of the Covid pandemic, he took effort to take good care of us. He had volunteered to help me with my laundry, and even folded them after they were done in the dryer. He had written a personal note to welcome us. He has even remembered my wife's birthday and gave her a Birthday card! All these small gestures cannot be found in just any hotel. In 2018, I wanted a recommendation for a supper spot nearby the hotel and I asked Sam. Within hesitation, he rattled off his favourite restaurant, what dishes we must try, and called a cab for us so that we would not get lost looking for the place. He handed me the hotel card with his name written on it, so that I can pass it to the cab driver to return back to the hotel. I had kept this card since, and he was surprised that I still had it! I can't wait to return to the wonderful city of Taipei, and to stay here again!

Thank you for the birthday cake and card for my husband. It was a great surprise to him.

Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a snack bar that serves snacks and beverages whole day. Bowl noodles are provided at night for those who need supper. Washing machines, dryers and detergent are free for use.

The room’s cleanliness was alright but the staff were really kind and helpful. They tended to our issues immediately and even prepared a cake and a handwritten card as it was one of our birthdays. We did not inform them about it. Too kind! Thank you for making our trip special!

Check-in process was a bit too complicated, too lengthy, and the breakfast closing at 6am made no sense to me (but I may have misunderstood). Otherwise a great place to stay.. highly recommended.

Great for travellers!

Check-in / Check-out : Staff were friendly and check-in/out was fuss-free. We asked to leave our bag 3 days before our stay and they were agreeable to it. Weighing scale available at the lobby. Room: Space slightly small but was sufficient for my party of 2 with one suitcase and one duffel. Tabletop was slightly cramped and somewhat lack of a counter space to place all our belongings but we made do - same for bathroom countertop space for any toiletries and skincare. Bed and pillows were comfy and just nice for us two. TV had a selection of movies (incl AV) and could access Youtube. Bathroom: Standard toilet so don't expect heated seat and bidet functionalities, shower with instant water heater and good quality shampoo and body soap. Basic toiletries provided and I appreciated he addition of packets of conditioner and body lotion. Facilities: Pantry and laundry room on the first floor were amazing. Pantry had shared oven, microwave, fridge, sink, and water dispenser. Coffee machine had coffee, hot chocolate, milk and others. Snacks were also provided, and after 10pm there were complimentary cup noodles available for guests. Laundry had 3 washing machines and 3 dryers, easy to use with laundry baskets, laundry nets, and washing powder provided.

Standard room could be slightly squeezy for some and distinct lack of countertop space. Location of the hotel in between Taipei Main Station and Zhongshan MRT, about a 7min walk to either. Not so convenient for those with chunky luggages. No ramp into the hotel.

Convenient and cost effective stay with amazing amenities

The place is in a very convenient location near the Taipei main station. convenience store right across the street. Also, the room is clean and spaciously designed. One of the surprises is that on the ground floor there’s a complimentary snacks and drink room with actual hot drinks and free instant noodles! a pleasant treat. The price is also very decent!

The sink was a bit small for my personal preference but not a deal breaker.

Convenient location!

Convenient location! Very close to the Taipei Main Station (~7 min walk)! Great customer service: we had an issue with our room and they quickly changed us to a different room!

The first room we had was not clean. The bathroom was smelly.
